English Courses
London College Dublin’s School of English is located in the prestigious building of 26, Merrion Square in the heart of the city centre. The building has been carefully chosen to provide students with the best study environment. Here you will find spacious classrooms, a digital multi-media language laboratory, free high-speed internet access, audio visual facilities, student recreation facilities and a self-study area which will allow you to relax over a cup of coffee or a game of pool. The college is well served by public transport, being on several bus, rail and cycle routes from each side of the city. Student care and attention is our main priority and our approach at LCD ensures that a high level of individual attention is given to every student. Teachers are carefully selected to nurture and develop the friendly and caring atmosphere that makes London College Dublin so special. We make every endeavour to ensure that furthering your education with us will be a rewarding and enjoyable experience for you. Our English language courses are aimed at developing students' language skills (grammar, reading, writing, listening and speaking) in a communicative manner. To achieve this end we use a variety of techniques and aids such as audio visual and technological resources. Classes are held in the morning, afternoon and evening. All classes take place from Monday to Friday and do not exceed 14 students per class. In-house examinations in grammar, reading, writing, listening and speaking are held on a regular basis to enable students to monitor their individual progress.
